Who we are
Our Story
PLAY is a local non-profit organization that was founded in 2021. Through the power of PLAY, we engage children and young adults with street-sports. Our main aim is to provide access to safe public sports spaces to children and young adults of all ages, especially those from underrepresented populations—refugees, females, and low-income. Part of PLAY’s programs is to enhance Jordan’s public parks infrastructure, depending on the needs of the space and the surrounding community. PLAY teaches children and young adults valuable life skills that go beyond the park.
Our Mission
Play is an organization of local Jordanians seeking to support and empower children & youths living in underserved communities in Jordan by providing free access to sports in community parks in order to promote gender equality, health & wellness, and provide higher qualities of life.
